232

The first day of snow in Anchorage this past winter was Sept 29.  The last (I hope!) snow of the season was last Saturday, May 18.  This means we had a 232 day snow season, breaking the record 230 days from the 1981 - 1982 winter.

My friend's friend took this picture in Anchorage on Friday, May 17

  1. With the most snow in a year the previous year, and the longest snow-year this, I don't even want to imagine what the record might be for next year.
