Last year we (in Anchorage) had a record total snowfall of 134.5 inches for the winter.  This broke a 57 year record of 132.6 inches.

The snowfall also affected other areas of Alaska.  Valdez had a 'snowpocalypse' of 437.6 inches and some building's roofs fell in from the snow.  Cordova had the National Guard come to help them dig out.
