A man whose name was not made public has set a record for the highest blood alcohol content of 1.374.  He was found passed out on the road in the village called Tarnowskiej Woli in the province of Podkarpaciu in Poland. This means that his blood was 1.374% alcohol.

In the US it is illegal to drive with a BAC of 0.08.  Possibility of death begins at about 0.3.  At 0.5, the risk becomes high.
