449 is a prime number.

449 is the smallest prime number whose digits are composite perfect squares.

449 is the 87th prime. Note that 42 + 42 + 92 = 82 + 72 = 113.


449 is the sum of five consecutive prime numbers: 449 = 79 + 83 + 89 + 97 + 101.
