The priciest zip code in the US is 07626 in Alpine, NJ. Median house price is 7.6 million dollars.
It’s not surprising that a town with so many celebrities, including Stevie Wonder, Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock,
enjoys a very low crime rate. It’s easy to understand the appeal of
Alpine, which is located just 15 miles from Midtown Manhattan. Median
household income in the area’s Tenafly Borough School District, was more
than $125,000 in 2010, more than double the U.S. average.
If you would like to live here, here is a house at 5 Buckingham Drive for $14,750,000.

Nice house. I'll take two.
ReplyDeleteWhat surprises me the most about this is how it flies in the face of what I thought was in New York, especially near Manhattan. I guess I sort of pictured the whole area as urban sprawl. I used to think that about the whole north-eastern seaboard. But I went to Boston in 2001, and was somewhat astounded at what I saw from the plane when we got to that area. There was, in fact, a band of what looked like urbanization. But it wasn't anywhere near as much of the area as I thought. The rest was green and lush-looking.
