The first day of snow in Anchorage this past winter was Sept 29. The last (I hope!) snow of the season was last Saturday, May 18. This means we had a 232 day snow season, breaking the record 230 days from the 1981 - 1982 winter.

With the most snow in a year the previous year, and the longest snow-year this, I don't even want to imagine what the record might be for next year.
