The last year to appear the same upside down as it did right side up. 2002 would do so on a calculator, but that technically is outside the limits of this distinction.
Though on many of today's calculators, even 2002 wouldn't work, because the font is different from the old squared digital font. It's a shame. What was the old joke about getting to 4377, or "hell" when turned upside down? I don't remember what was added together or multiplied to get there...I just remember it was something funny.
