I asked my friend Cheryl what her favorite number is.  She said it is a tie between 7 ("I had seven children"),  13 (" I was born on the 13th.  I've always liked that number, maybe because most people don't."), and 23 ("When I was a child I always wanted to be 23.  Not 16.  Not 18.  Always 23.")
